I know that the charger and outlit works because I plugged it into my sister's computer and the green light turned on and it was charging. But when I plug it in the light doesnt turn on and it doesnt charge my computer. I think it might be the battery but i have only had my macbook pro for a year... All my essays and papers I have to turn in are on my laptop and I definitely can not afford another one... HELP!!!

Hey guys , ive Ipod Shuffle .. 2nd generation.. Whenever m charging it its not showing the orange light . it only shows the green light (continuously) .. even when charging ,discharging (playing songs) , even when i connect the Ipod with mac it should blink orange light first , but still it blinks with green light only.. Ipod is not fully charged, even it has 0% battery left it shows Green light, even when battery dies it shows green instead of Red... I've reseted my Ipod many times , tried on someone else's mac (same result) . tried inserting songs from the sretch ... almost tried everything ... Please HELP (yes it is charging but not idndicating Orange light ,Only green)

The cable isnt the origional one it came with, but its been fine for her. I've tried resetting it, leaving it in for 30minutes+. Im stuck on options now, and please if you have any answers please use easy words, im only 13 and I need help.

My MacBook unibody is completely dead and won't turn on. When i plug in my adapter there is no light. Is this a battery issue ? Any solutions?
My macbook is the 2010 model and lately it seems that there has been a problem concerning the battery.
I realized its the battery and not the charger since I tested the charger that I used on other computers and they worked just fine.
I also used other chargers on my computer which ended up not working on my computer but they had still worked on other computers.
Right now, when I normally plug in my charger to my magsafe port, instead of the bright green light that I'm used to seeing, it registers a very faint green light.
On my computer it stated that the charger was plugged in but that the battery wasn't charging. After plugging a charger into another computer and back into my macbook, I am able to acquire the normal bright green light. However, the battery still remains unchargeable. Sometimes, however rarely, when my computer completely dies and plug my charger back into the magsafe port, It'll recharge after a day. The battery indicator would state that the battery was charging when I reopen my macbook. However, after taking out the charger for a few seconds and placing it back into the magsafe port, I am always greeted with the indicator showing that the macbook is unable to charge. I have already tried resetting the SMC and PRAM but nothing has worked. I also realize that it is indicated that the battery should be replaced soon, but is there anyway to fix this problem without having to buy a new battery? Also, I'm running Mountain Lion. You have my gratitude in advance.

This is my second power supply for my MBP.
I have the 13" mid 2009 model.
I plug the adapter in and i get a faint green light, battery is SLOWLY charging, shows charging indicator.
BUT... says not charging, and service battery when i click the battery icon.
My magsafe isn't yellow.. just dim green.
NOW.. when i disconnect the magsafe from the MBP, the dim green light is still there! still dim and green! I have tried other outlets and still dim and green... ALSO i did notice, in my system profiler, under power, there is no information for my AC power. its all zeros...
I have tried resetting the SMC, but there is no for real telling if it worked or not.
I have cleaned my connectors.
tried other outlets.
ANY IDEAs??? NOW remember the dim green light stays on when the magsafe is NOT connected to the MBP1

Hello All-
I have a macbook pro with the "L" style magsafe connector. I am running 10.7.5 OS with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor. I am up to date with all software updates. The chord and computer connections are clean, intact and unobstructed.
I've noticed that my power cord light will be off (and not charging the computer) and if i unplug it from the computer and replug it in, i get nothing. If i unplug from the wall and plug back into the same outlet, then you get nothing. if you unplug from the outlet and plug into a different outlet then the cord illuminates and starts charging the computer. doesn't matter if the outlets are in my kitchen, at work, etc. same phenomenom. i wonder if it has something to do with heat from plug assembly. By that once it heats up, then you get a bad connection, and plugging it into an unused outlet will work.
Anyone else had this issue? it's a pain to be crunching large datasets and come back to the computer drained of power and off because the cord is no longer giving power.

It's connected but not charging, sometimes it goes green, sometimes red and sometimes no light on power supply cord. When I look closely on the connector two alternate dots of the four have dark shade marks around them that was not there before. could it be the power supply cord or is it the battery?
It there a way to fix it.. what is odd is that when it is plugged in it stays at the same percentage of battery charge, and sometimes it actually starts charging gets to around 80%+ and stops while other times just keeps the current charge. Any thoughts?

Had charging issues so bought correct wattage apple magsafe adapter. With new magsafe, laptop works fine, green light on, but not charging battery. It has 335 cycles and shows 5.944 volts. So, I bought a new battery off ebay (A1375). Installed new battery, and now it will only work on battery power and magsafe shows not connected, no green light as if its fried. I have 3 magsafes so its not this.
I did all the nvram, SMC, and battery out/power button SMC bypass resets to no avail. After a time, the battery died to 0%, and now the magsafe turned green again and works fine on AC power again! This is really strange. It acts as tho it can only run on DC or AC power but not both and never charges. I even put in the old battery, updated to the ~31 Jan 13 firmware and tried all the resets again. Nothing. So now it works just fine on AC power, green light on, 0% on the new battery not charging.
Lastly, I took it into apple and they wouldn't fix it for cheaper than 700 which more than totals the value of the laptop.
Any pro's out there have an idea? I don't want to toss a perfectly good laptop that has 100% pixels and runs perfectly in every other way.

I charged 2011 Macbook Air yesterday and it was fine last night and again this morning. Then, when it was running low on battery today I plugged in the wall charger (which is a new one I got in July) and suddenly my screen went black and the charge light wouldn't come on. So, I unplugged the charger and then my screen came back. Plugged in charger again and screen went black again. I restarted my computer and still same problem. I even shut down and rebooted but same problem. Of course I didn't back up my files so I scrambled to transfer some to our portable hard drive but I was on reserve power and the transfer did not complete. So, now I have a dead computer. I even just tried the charger of a friend with a MB Air but her charger didn't work for me either. So, now I have just plugged my charger in with the hope that it will mysteriously start working again -still no light showing.
And ideas? I live in southern Mexico and closest Apple Store is in Mexico City...not very close to me :-(
