13-inch retina Macbook does not last more than 4 hours..
Am I charging it wrong? I don't understand how the cycles work...I let my laptop run down to 50% and I charge it back up and leave it in until I'm done usng it.
Macbook Pro Retina battery problem?
I took my Macbook Retina out of the box and immediately charged it to 100% and it has only given me 2:32 minutes on battery life. Should I wait to do a full cycle of a battery charge on it, or is something wrong? Isn't it supposed to last 7 hours?

Macbook Pro Retina not charging, please help!
I recently plugged in my charger, and the green light did not come on. I then clicked on the battery at the top of the screen and it says that it is plugged in but not charging but that the power source is the power adapter. Right now my computer is stuck at 14% when plugged in. Please help!

2 month old Macbook 15" Retina Green Light But not Charging
It's connected but not charging, sometimes it goes green, sometimes red and sometimes no light on power supply cord. When I look closely on the connector two alternate dots of the four have dark shade marks around them that was not there before. could it be the power supply cord or is it the battery?
It there a way to fix it.. what is odd is that when it is plugged in it stays at the same percentage of battery charge, and sometimes it actually starts charging gets to around 80%+ and stops while other times just keeps the current charge. Any thoughts?

Battery Life MacBook Pro Retina
I've been trying to follow all the steps I've found on many of the forums, and I am still getting 3-4 hours at best battery life on my new Retina MacBook Pro. The only thing that I am finding that seems to be CPU intensive is the Carbonite Daemon.. I am running Mountain Lion.. Is anyone else seeing this as the potential issue on battery life?

My battery in my MBP Retina is very poor
The energy saver is the default in settings (Brightness is about 1/3) and in a full charge the time shows 2.5 hrs. I am just surfing the web with no other programs open and BT off. I have put this to the test and am getting terrible life out of my new unit.

MacBook Pro Retina Battery
My new macbook retina has not lasted me or predicted longer than 3 hours of battery life. However reviews are confirming apple's prediction of 7 hours. My brightness is down, keyboard illumination off, bluetooth off and barely using the comp.
What could be wrong?

I was just wondering why my MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display, which is just 3 months old, would have only about 98% battery health after 23 cycles!
When i bought it i had ~102% so 8700mAh from 8500mAh! Now i can only reach 8349mAh anymore! Does anybody have the same issue or am I the only one with a bad battery in my MacBook? I know, that these numbers are not very accurate! But if there are missing 2% charge after 3 months...
Maybe it's only a similar problem to the following! I hope this will be fixed soon.
(If there are any Mountain Lion Developers in this forum... this is for you)
I also found a bug concerning battery charge! When my MacBook is fully charged, it says 100%, not really fascinating. But the thing is, it already shows 100% when there are only about 96% charge in the battery! So... I shut down my computer when the charging-light went green, reset the SMC and... wow... it's orange again!! So PLEASE fix this bug!
I don't know how to change system language so sorry for my german screenshot!

EFI Firmware Update for Retina Display and Battery Life
I recently installed the EFI firmware update (1.0) for the macbook pro with retina display and have found my battery life has reduced from what used to be 5 hours or so to maybe 2 hours. Furthermore, I have noticed that my computer runs significantly hotter than it used to. Has anyone experienced this and know why this is the case? I would like to restore my battery life.

Macbook Pro 13" retina
I've had this macbook for a good 3 weeks. And it's very nice.
But one thing that's worrying me is the constant fluctuation of my battery life.
I do watch videos and realize I go 4 hours on half-full brightness with facebook being my only other tab.
Then I charge it and I use it while it charges. Sometimes I sleep at 2 and take it out when I wake up at 7.
Other times I sleep around 11 and take it out at 7 or 9.
Now I'm using my mac with lowest, visible brightness, chrome and powerpoint.
I've lost 7% in about 10 minutes.
Is this normal?

MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 - i7 15"
Hello,
I have a problem with my MacBook. It has only 2 months and i discovered that it heats very much: precisely while charging. It's the Mid 2012 version, retina display with SSD and nVidia GPU. I had before a Dell Laptop (Inspiron 1720) and a MacBook Mid 2007 so i'm used with heat, but i don't think that in this case it's normal: precisely, when it's charging and the laptop is in standby (lid closed) . When i start up, the fans go crazy and the keyboard is hot. In few minutes it cools up, but still i think this is a strange behavior.
Do you encounter this issue too ? Or it's only my case and i need to go to a service ?

MacBook Pro Retina 15" Auto Power Off
Hi,
I have "auto power off" issue with my newly bought MacBook Pro Retina 15".
This problem is very annoying, my MacBook Pro just auto power off, where I check the battery is 100% fully charged.
The first encountered was about a month ago, the night I cannot turn on my MacBook Pro at all, the next day I sent it back to Apple Service Centre. The technician open up the bottom part, reset the battery by removing the battery cable, plug it back. Then turn on and perform some diagnosis test.
It was working fine for about 2 weeks, and now the "auto power off" happen everyday.
I have repartition my SSD drive to 2 partitions using BootCamp and installed with Windows 7 x64.
At first, this problem happen when I boot into Windows 7 with BootCamp, at first, I thought this problem is due to Windows Drivers, and I have no choice but purchase Parallels Desktop, to run my Windows with OSX 10.8.2. After the Parallels installed, I upgrade my second partition to run Windows 7 concurrently with OSX, it was running fine on the first day! And I thought it has solve my problems, unfortunately the next day, this problems occurs again.
I suspect this is due to hardward failure, something to do with the battery. Looks like the drivers is telling the Operating System, battery is 0%, and it just turn off itself.
Anyone experience this? Please share your experience or advice what should I do next?
