Since the iPod touch doesn't display a battery percentage, how would I know when the charging is completed? In iOS 6 and earlier there would be a plugged-in icon meaning that the device is charged, but in iOS 7 there is only one icon that can mean both charging or charged.
I have a 5th gen 32gb ipod touch, if the battery needed to be replaced, would it be possible to take it to a local apple store and chaage it?

Battery says 'Service Battery' but my 1 year Apple Cares run out now and it's around £200 to buy again from what I remeber so just wondering if I took it in if it's cheaper to pay for a replacement battery if it's available or what?
