Enquiry about Battery Life

Guys, am new to iPod touch. Just bought iPod touch 5g before 2 weeks. I want to know what battery life fellow users are having.

As said I am able to play music for 38~40 hours.

But when I use wifi, location services, browse internet, access mail the battery depletes some 10~20% immediately.

When I play games like sonic dash, inifinity blade, plants vs zombies 2 for some approximate 45 minutes(wifi, location services OFF) battery depletes some 40%.

Is this normal ???

What is the battery life in ipod touch regarding wifi and gaming ?

Please help me.

Not Sure About This......

Got a first gen nano and was trying to find out how easy it was to change the battery. Went onto the apple website and now they are sending me a box to send it to them and they are going to send me a replacement. Its a 1st Gen Nano and about 8 years old. I can't imagine they will send me one back brand new and free of charge which they are saying. Anyone tried this?

My ipod (30gig) is about 7 years old. It has recently not been holding the charge. Do I need to replace the battery or something else.

I have an ipod thatis about 7 years old. It has recently stopped holding the charge. It dies after about 45 minutes (while using a bluetooth transmitter). Do I need to replace the battery and is that possible?

Thank you, all.

A question about my Macbook Air's battery life...

I just purchased this Mac a couple of days go and, I haven't found any information to answer my question...

If I keep my Macbook Air (2012 model) on AC Power will it over charge the battery, or harm it in any way?

Because I know that my iPhone 4 has special charging instructions...like letting the battery drain completely until it shuts off, every 30 days. I found that on the apple support website very easily, not so much information on Macbook Airs though.

Anyway...That's basically all I wanted to ask...

Thank you to anyone who answers!

Question about items I found for my iBook that I don't know what to do with

As stated above, I have an iBook that I've had for several years and I cannot use it anymore to go online as routers aren't accepted in my household.  I recently found a plastic bag with a new USB cable, a phone line cable and a new battery Pegatron Model:PB013 with my computer things and I don't know what it is for since I never had occasion to use it.  Can anyone tell me what to do with these things?  I do know that they came with the iBook but at the time we bought it, we were never interested in what it is for.  If anyone can tell me the use for it, I would appreciate it and if there really isn't a use for these items, I will just throw them away.  I would love to be able to go online with my iBook but spouse doesn't believe in routers, says then others can get into your info even though I know that isn't true.  Any help would be appreciated.

bulging/unclickable trackpad, battery dies at about 20% (Mid 2009 macbook pro)

My trackpad feels swollen to the point where it's rising above the unibody itself along the top edge just below the keyboard. It refuses to physically click (dragging a file isn't an option), so the only way I can use it is in the tap mode. It wasn't dropped or damaged in any way, I just sort of noticed it getting difficult on day. Furthermore, it likes to die at somewhere between 20-30% with no warning. I've read that this can indicate that the battery is bulging and if it's replaced the trackpad should fix itself. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this and if so how did it go? Here's some of my battery info I pulled from the "about this mac" info. I'm not exactly sure what I should be looking at, so any help would be appreciated.

Charge Information:

  Charge remaining (mAh):    2905

  Fully charged:    Yes

  Charging:    No

  Full charge capacity (mAh):    2905

  Health Information:

  Cycle count:    1637

  Condition:    Fair

  Battery Installed:    Yes

  Amperage (mA):    257

  Voltage (mV):    12429

Does charging the battery to about 90% for the first charge decrease battery life in the iPod touch 5g?

I'm not sure if my battery has the full capability because I don't think I charged it all the way the first time I charged it.

Anyone know about a Lifeproof case for ipod touch 5g?

Hi,

In looking for cases, I've narrowed my search to 3 with Lifeproof at the top (the others are ottterbox and griffin.)

I see that Lifelock released their case for the ipod touch on Sept. 7th 2012, and it appears that the ipod touch 5g was released in October.  I'm hoping that in some sense Lifelock and similar companies may have a way to respond quickly to newly released products.  So I'm wondering if anyone has any intel on whether there's a Lifelock case for the 5g coming soon?

Otherwise, do otterbox and griffin even compare?  Which is closest to the Lifeproof?  Or is there someone better you'd suggest?

Thanks so much!
