When I play my Ipod shuffle 3rd gen there's a moment when I start hearing interference until it stops playing, when I turn it off and on again it starts playing from the first song all over again, and once it sounded like the music was slowing down.

2007 13" macbook shuts down for no reason then wont start until waiting 20minutes
I have an early 2007 Macbook and it randomly will shut down and after 15-20 minutes it will boot up.
It will never reboot successfully, after a wait of 15-20 minutes sometimes it will boot up, somtimes I
have to wait overnight for it to boot up.
The power adapter does charge the battery, The battery does boot the laptop but with the same random shut downs as
it does when using the power cord.
The times when it does boot up everything works fine. Sometimes it will stay on overnight, sometimes not.

Battery will not charge, computer will not start when plugged up.
I have a 17" macbook pro and in recent time i've let the battery die completely a few times. Up till now, I've been able to get it charged up by letting it sit for a while when the LED indicator would rapidly blink for a few seconds.
I've now plugged it up and the green light on the magsafe charger comes on and still wont start, even if I take the battery out with it still plugged in. The LED on the battery will not blink at all. What should I do? Please help!
what do i need to know about my mac before i start using it? is there anything else i need to know?
what else do i have to know before i start using my mac. i'm in my teens, need my mac for studies and socialising.
Thanks for your help!xx

Can't start my ipod touch.
This happened befored when I stopped using it for 3 months without turning it off. It wouldn't start and the battery wouldn't recharge. Eventually I found an iphone charger and it worked to wake up the battery. And it worked fine until I stopped using it again. This time of course, I dutifully turned it off in fear that the old problem may find me again. 1 month or so later this happened. It won't start. And nothing will get the battery start recharging. Please help and share your wisdom, masters!

Have a MBP that will not start if battery is in
MBP 17"...about 4 years old. Just upgraded to Snow Leopard and while have never had a problem before, if the battery is in and MBP not plugged in, will not start. If battery out and plugged in, runs as normal. If battery in and plugged in, starts to power up, makes initial startup "sound" and then powers off. Will continue to do this until it is unplugged. Battery shows full charge.
Any thoughts on why all of a sudden it will not boot with the battery in?

Won't start after battery replacement
Long winded description.
My track pad was getting hard to push, and through googling I figured out it was most likely due to the battery. I had also read that I should be able to run the macbook pro without the battery. I ordered a new battery and since the wait wasn't long, I decided to go ahead and take the old battery out. It wouldn't turn on after that, so I decided to just let it sit a day and wait for the new battery. Installed the new battery and nothing. I tried an SMC (keyboard) and that didn't work. I then unplugged the battery and power cable held the power button, replaced both and it came on, but the battery indicator was showing an "X". In the system profiler it said no battery was installed. I restarted it, and the same thing happened. Next Instead of restarting I just shut down, and it wouldn't restart again after that. This whole time I notice the light on the mag safe plug is very dim green. While plugged in the second closest to the front battery indicator light stays on, and if plugged in for a while remains on when removed. I ended up getting the computer to start one more time last night with the same problem, so I was going to try a restart and hardware test, but when I tried that it just shut down at the apple logo. I left the computer plugged in last night and got to the apple logo again this morning after unplugging the power and battery and holding the power button for 10 seconds, but only got to the apple logo again trying to perform the hardware test.

My MacBook only powers up when plugged in; it won't start up in battery mode.
My husband recently backed up my hard drive and reformatted my disk so I could have a clean slate and get my Mac running more efficiently. I was almost out of space. Anyway, now when I unplug my Mac and try to start it in battery mode (battery is fully charged) I cannot start it. I have to plug it back in, start it up and then I can remove it from the plug and it's ok. Any ideas why it won't boot in battery mode? I've never had this issue until my husband reformatted the disk.
I'm running OS X Mountain Lion version 10.8.2.
Thanks!
