Battery icon showing "no batteries available", not charging

Hello,

I bought a used 2008 Macbook (2.4ghz Core2duo) that only worked while plugged in. Thinking the battery was bad, I ordered a new one. After noticing it didn't detect either battery (X over the battery icon, "No batteries available") and nothing showing up about the battery in the system information screen, I ordered and replaced the battery cable that connects to the logic board. It now runs on the new battery (it didn't before) but since it's barely charged it only lasts for a few seconds. Even when it's running on the battery the system still shows that no batteries are available. I've tried resetting the SMC using both batteries and a different charger but I really can't figure out what's going on. The charger turns orange for a few minutes but then turns green. Am I doing something wrong? Could this be a bad magsafe board or is this looking like more of a Logicboard problem? Any help short of going to the Apple store would be much appreciated.

macbook wont charge regardless of charger being plugged in. no green light is showing either. possible dead battery that needs replacing?

i have a macbook pro that is just over a year old. a few days ago it was having issues with the trackpad, and i read that the battery could cause issues with that. after a few hours it managed to resolve itself and then yesterday i connected it to the charger and it just wouldnt charge. it was all plugged in correctly but the green light on the charger wasnt lit and no power was getting through. i turned it off when it was at 5% battery, and it wont change while off, nor turn back on. is it possible that the battery itself is dead and it needs to be replaced?

Some song genres that no longer exist are still showing on my iPod

I had some inconsistencies the name of a genre so I changed it. After changing and syncing it to my ipod, the misspelled genre is still there, but when I click on it, it shows the results of the correctly spelled genre.

It's an error that only shows on my ipod, not itunes. How can I fix?
