I have a late 2008 macbook aluminum unibody. Of late I am getting a 'Service Battery' message. The profiler shows that batter has completed 254 charge cycles. Please advice

2008 aluminum macbook keys stopped working

my late 2008 aluminum macbook keys suddenly stopped working, it is keys 1qaz backspace and two volume buttons. i neved spilled water on it, has this ever happen to somebody else and if so what was the problem.
