Hi,
I recently posted a question about a faulty MBP, and concluded that it was a damaged hard drive. It would start up but not detect the HD in disk utility, and would make an odd clicking sound.
I opened it up, following steps from iFixit, detatched the battery from the board, and went on to remove the hard drive to replace with a new one.
I reatached everything securely, including the battery cable but the Mac won't boot, it won't respond to any buttons (ie. the power button, and the battery indicator). Obviously there is no power. I tried reopening and reatching everything, and then used the charger. No luck.
Anyone have any ideas as to why the battery won't power up the mac? It was powering up perfectly fine before detaching the batter.
The pins don't look damaged or bent either.
