My iPod Shuffle generation (2nd generation) is not charging turning on!
Well, I had my iPod since 2007. Used till 2008, and was working perfectly. Now it is not working. When I plug it in to the wall using an adapter, it has a quite screaching voice. This is a 2nd gen iPod Shuffle like stated. iTunes NOT recognizing it. Not recognizing USB, in Windows PC anyways. Once it did. Although once I got a message saying "NOT ENOUGH POWER TO CONNECT DEVICE" or something. I think that its because the iPod wasnt used so its batterry so it now doesnt even have enough charge to charge itself I believe. xP. Although any help, would appriciate because I really want to fix this problem! Thanks!
Help!My ipod 4th generation won't charge, turn on or appear in itunes!
I've only had my ipod shuffle a few weeks for running. I had it on charge on my work PC all day, when it came to running home it wouldn't play.
The things I have tried;
- Held down on 'play' button for a few seconds, it beeps flashes green but nothing happens.
- I've try to restore .. switch off, wait ten seconds, turn on - nothing happens.
- I've plugged it into my laptop - red light appears and then nothing.
I'm all out of ideas, as it doesn't show up on my computer, nor in i-tunes I can't reset it as per the help support guidelines ... !
Can anyone help me? I'd be forever grateful!
iPod Touch 5th generation battery on ios 7
I have a iPod touch 5th generation (space grey it came with ios 7) and I was just wondering what the average battery life is. Mine seems to be setting the trend of 4-4 1/2 hours (playing games), and about 7 hours using music, streaming, and browsing. Is this about the average?
iPod 5th Generation Battery Concern
I recently upgraded from an old 2nd generation iPod Touch to a 5th Generation. I immediately installed Battery Doctor (which I used on my old iPod) and proceeded to have a good charging policy. I upgraded to iOS 7 and installed all my old apps/data. I use it infrequently, maybe once or twice a day and it seems like everytime I go to use it, it is dead.
Following instructions on Battery Doctor and also online, I have disable WiFi, Location Services, Bluetooth, Notification Center, Dynamic Backgrounds, Control Center, Background Searching and anything else that could be using battery. Even after all this, if I fully charge the battery and leave the iPod for longer than overnight, it is dead. I get the red battery symbol and have to plug it in to use it. I've heard that iOS 7 is battery hungry, but this seems crazy.
So, to try and keep the iPod available to use whenever I want, I started turning it off completely. So after fully charging it, I turned in off and came back to it after 24 hours to find it completely dead. How can the battery be exhausted after being turned off?
I assume that I must have a faulty battery because this behaviour just seems completely abnormal and ridiculous. Considering I could come back to my old 2nd generation iPod after nearly a week (with Wifi turned off) and it would still be up and running.
It was only purchased back in September and Argos say that it must be sent off to Apple to confirm the problem before issuing a replacement. I just want to confirm that this is abnormal before I proceed, because I definately don't want a replacement if the battery is this bad? Expecially considering how dissapointed I was by the lack of dual cameras.
What kind of battery life do other 5th generation users get out of theirs?
Thanks for any help.

iPod Touch 5th Generation, Battery loses charge too quickly!
Hello All!
I've been using iPod Touch 5th Generation for 3 months now, but now, all of a sudden, it loses it's charge extremely quick, it used to hold for 2 to 3 days, but now, it drains itself without doing nothing! it even loses charge while turned off ! (well, hybernated or whatever) I reseted it, charge it completely, 100%, and now is almost at 20% without doing nothing!
It has iOS 7, but no update yet,
Any advice is greatly appreciated,

Hello I have an Ipod Touch 2nd Gen and it wont turn on or charge. When I unplug it the screen goes black and nothing happens. I have tried holding down the power button but nothing will work. Also when I plug it into a computer it doesnt show up on itunes, as additional info it is a 8gb black ipod touch 2ng gen, no camera, and ios 4.1. Thank you
Ipod Touch 4th Generation won't turn on...Battery problem?
A friend of mine dropped my 4th generation Ipod Touch about a week ago, and for a few days it would shut down anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes after turning on. It would also occasionally give me a warning that the iPod was too heated up and so I would have to wait a few minutes before using it. I tried to restore it but that didn't help. Then, it stopped turning on all together, except that it says that it is at the lowest battery if you plug it into the computer. It won't show up in iTunes though. I took it to the Genius bar, and they said that since I had previously exchanged the back and front at a 3rd party place, they weren't able to evaluate the problem. Should I send it to a 3rd party place in the hope that getting a new battery wil solve the problem, or should I just give up on it? Thanks so much!!!

ipod nano 4th generation, 8gb dead?
Hi, First of all, of course my problem is that I can't turn on or even charge my ipod nano 4th gen. I did everything that people said to do: Press and hold the menu button, and the round button in the center, toggle the switch, and plug it in to my computer..but none of them work. Should I contact Apple by email? Should I go to the nearest Apple store? Is there anything else I can do to try get it back or is it gone forever? ... Thanks.
Ipod Nano 4th generation troubleshooting
I have an ipod nano 4th gen and it's about 5-6 years old. It's been acting weird for about a year now. The battery bounces around, not just draining and not over hours or days but minutes. It goes from fully charged to low back to 75% to needing to be charged. And again, that's in minutes. This was the main problem until 6 months ago. Then it began shutting off and giving the apple logo. When I'd turn it back on (holding down either the play and center button or the play and menu button) it would need to be charged. Due to this for the last 6 months it had been dead when I charge it (don't know if that makes a difference) but the same battery issue happened. Now however, it's stuck in a loop. I charged it for a road trip and noticed the computer didn't recognize it (by computer I mean iTunes) It would go from the apple logo to the menu (showing a battery fully drained but not charging like it should've) then to the triangle saying it needs to recharge. Then it would start all over by going to the apple logo in an endless loop unless turned off. I've reset it but nothing changed. I tried just leaving it in to charge both in a computer and car charger but nothing happened. Help please! I'm a cheapo and would prefer not to spend a ton of money fixing it or buying something new!
