Macbook Pro 2012. I've read the comments and many others have the same issue. This has been going on now for 2 days, my battery used to have 9 hrs and is now down to 5 after doing a full charge. Not good. Is this another of Apple's scams? Please help!!
I'm using and iPod touch 5 and I unjailbreak it and update at the same time. But when I update I come to realize that my battery drain faster on 6.1.3 .. When I charge my ipod full, I will usually play games like fifa or blitz
Brigade.. After I play those game for about 1/2 - 1 hour, my battery drained a lot.. Can anyone help?

Yesterday I was downloading more apps (using wifi) and first I charged it to over 3/4 then downloaded apps and my battery was dead in 20mins

TL;DR: Installed SMC 1.8, computer won't sleep. Do I have to do a full system wipe / restore?
I've seen a few other threads noting issues after the SMC 1.8 update (like https://discussions.apple.com/message/21130929 ) but nothing matches my exact symptoms so I'll post a new one.
For the past week, it seems that my mid-2011 13" 128GB MBA won't go to sleep, either by closing the lid or Apple->Sleep from the menu. The bottom of the case is perpetually warm and the battery drains from full to dead in ~6 hours. I had installed a couple of pieces of software around the time that I did the SMC 1.8 update so I'm not sure exactly what the culprit is but I'll go on a limb and say the SMC update is the likeliest suspect.
I have tried the following steps to no avail:
When I run "pmset -g assertions" this is the summary output:

i bought my ipod on 2 feb 2013 .. but hardly tried any big App. because its battery drains even when its turned off .. i have updated to 6.1.2 a week ago . but still not much battery back .. its in 11 months warranty i dont know what to do.. kindly tell me how yours ipod is giving you back up ? how much is the charging time ? any tip (i have turned off all extra things) ?

I charge my battery to full, and listen to music in the backgroud and play unbox me, and so those are the only two apps running. I keep my multitasking to a minimum. When playing the game, the battery drains quickly. When I had a full charge showing on the battery, I held down the apps to delete them. They started to "dance" and I selected four apps, and deleted them. After that my battery showed about 25%. What is going on? Can anyone help?! Thank you!

However if I put it in sleep mode or if I am listening to music the battery will last as long as my brothers ipod. Normally this would not be a problem but after about 10 minutes of playing hill climb racing, the 20% battery left warning comes up and another 10 minutes and the ipod shuts off. The weird thing is is that if I turn it back on and leave it in sleep, it will go back up to 95%ish. I have tried resetting it to factory, and hard resetting it, neither worked. The 6.1 update did not seem to do much either. I am not sure if I have warranty on it and do not know how to check. Any help would be great, thanks!
