It doesn't hurt to ask, right? My nephew purchased a macbook pro 15" about 2 years ago. Just under a year ago, his battery heated up, ballooned out, and damaged the computer. Thought the whole computer was gone. I just found out about this, and am trying to help him. Is there any hope that the recall is still available to him? what about apple checking it out the damage?
Any help is appreciated!
