Macbook Pro (2011, 2.2ghz) - Slow after Battery problem?

Hi,

on saturday my mac crashed and didn't boot anymore. The green lamp from the charger wasn't glowing anymore either. So i went to the appstore to get a check on it. They reset the battery (unplugged it?) and it booted again. But it feels like my macbook is slower now..

Using programs feels slower. The first time i realized it was slower is when i played Minecraft afterwards. Usually i get 500 fps but now its only 20. I didn't update anything in the meanwhile. This was on windows though. So i tried it on Mac OS X but same performance.

I work in Flash Builder on Mac OS X and it also feels much slower now.

I think it somehow affected the CPU. I have this project i am working on that uses Multithreading and it also feels much slower (the system freezes while calculating stuff on a second thread, and continues when its done). Could also explain the performance in minecraft.

Yesterday i upgraded my Ram to 8GB so i had to reinstall windows on my second partition. After the installation and installing all updates and drivers, i did this weird system check that gives you a number how good it performance.

Before the re-install, the Ram had the lowest value with 5.2. I believe my CPU was at 6.

But now i get 4.6 for the CPU and it`s the lowest value.

Could it be that they reset something on the cpu when resetting stuff at the appstore?

I had no time yet to go back to the appstore, my work schedule is very busy for the next 2 weeks and i need the mac to work on.

Wonder if anyway has an idea of what it could be.

Thanks,

Sven
