Hi There
My iPod Shuffle (4G) seems to charge OK when plugged in to my Macbook. I can see the device in iTunes, and can copy music to it. As I am manually managing music, it is in Disk Mode, so the light is blinking orange.
However, when I eject it, the light goes out, and I cannot get any music to play back. When I press the play button (On either Shuffle or normal mode) no lights, no audio, nothing.
I have left if for a full day charging (With the macbook on, not in hibernate or powering down), plugged directly into the macbook (no an external USB Hub) and it stays on orange blinking.
The Battery meter does not fill up in iTunes (As I would expect it to do) and I cannot get the VoiceOver to report a battery status (or anything else at all).
My thinking is that the battery is knackered, but I was wondering if there were any more suggestions or troubleshooting I could try before taking it in?
I have tried resetting to factory default, and have the latest iTunes. Software reports the shuffle as being on the latest version. (1.0.1)
Many Thanks
