erm, is there any other way that i can set the time on my ipod?

the date on my ipod is set to july 1971 and 2:35am, the part of my screen that i have to press ''set date & time' under the ''date & time'' settings tab doesnt work, could i do this with a pc? help, because the app store wont let me download anything because of it!?:s
